Comedian Hannibal Buress blocks the 76ers on Twitter

It doesn't look like professional sports and Twitter are meshing too well in Philadelphia these days.

First, Brandon Graham earned his own hashtag after blocking some unmeasurable number of followers.

Then, there was the exchange between the 76ers' account and comedian Hannibal Buress.

As The Washington Post reports, it isn't exactly clear what drove Buress's decision to block Sixers' account, particularly after he tweeted a video of himself watching their Tuesday night contest.

Then again, the "Broad City" star makes no secret that he's an avid sports bettor. Maybe he had an extra large chunk of change riding on Kobe and the Lakers? Whatever the reason, he sure as heck wasn't impressed with Philly notching its first win on the season.
