Damian Lillard selected for 'NBA 2K21' cover
Damian Lillard has been selected as one of three cover athletes for "NBA 2K21," as the Trail Blazers point guard will be on the cover for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC and Google Stadia systems. 2K will announce the covers for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on Wednesday.
"This is a special moment for me in my NBA career," Lillard said. "I've been a fan of NBA 2K for years and love how they represent all aspects of basketball culture. I'm an avid 2K player so I'm honored to join the other NBA greats who have been on the cover. I'm grateful to all my fans and can't wait for everyone to experience the game later this year."
Lillard has become one of the elite players in the NBA, averaging 28.9 points and 7.8 assists per game while keeping Portland in the playoff mix despite the team missing several players due to injury. 2K is typically released in September but the release may delayed due to the season being put on pause for over four months in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
