Damian Lillard sparks trade speculation with cryptic Instagram post
Damian Lillard has been very loyal to the Portland Trail Blazers over his career. However, it appears the 30-year-old could be considering a move out of Portland after another disappointing playoff exit in the first round.
After the Blazers were eliminated with a 126-115 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, Lillard posted a photo of himself to Instagram with lyrics from "Dedication," a song by Nipsey Hussle.
The timing and caption of the post can be interpreted as being discontent. It could also mean Lillard will stay prepared until he gets his opportunity to lead the Blazers to a title.
However, scrolling through NBA Twitter will have you thinking Lillard wants out of Portland. Fans have been hoping Lillard would demand a trade from the Blazers, and maybe that'll eventually happen.
For now, all signs point toward Lillard returning to Portland next season. If he does demand a trade, though, it'll be interesting to see where he ends up.
