Dates that Pistons will wear teal throwback at home revealed

There's a ton to be excited about regarding the Detroit Pistons.

Cade Cunningham, their No. 1 overall pick from the 2021 NBA draft, has legitimate superstar potential. General manager Troy Weaver then went out in the 2022 draft and added arguably the two best athletes in the lottery -- guard Jaden Ivey (No. 5 overall) and big-man Jalen Duren (drafted No. 13 overall by the New York Knicks before being traded to Detroit).

Complimented by three-point sharpshooter Saddiq Bey and intriguing and athletic forward Isaiah Stewart, the Pistons are building one of the more exciting young rosters in the NBA.

Detroit also has one of the most exciting alternate jerseys in the league. Perhaps inspired by their youth movement, the Pistons have decided to throw it back to the teal jerseys ones worn by the likes of Grant Hill, Jerry Stackhouse, and even an up-and-coming Ben Wallace.

To be fair, the teals are a bit controversial amongst the fanbase. With that said, those that like them, love them, and now the official word is out regarding when Pistons fans can see the teal grace the court at Little Ceasars Arena.

This is the home teal schedule, according to to beat writer James Edwards III of The Athletic:

For fans of the teal, these are must-see events. To make things even more exciting, Edwards also reports that the court will have some teal influence.

Is Detroit basketball back? Time will tell, but the teal for sure is.
