The Phoenix Suns have put together a pair of wins in back-to-back nights after defeating the Detroit Pistons with a final score of 116-100.

From start to finish, the Suns controlled the ball and kept a steady lead. A somewhat rare occurrence given their overwhelming ability to give up leads late in games.

With tonight’s victory, Phoenix now sits in fifth place in the Western Conference standings, just behind the Los Angeles Clippers.

Deandre Ayton recorded his first 30+ point night since December 28th. On just 15 attempts, Ayton put up 31 points along with 16 rebounds.

Not a bad night…

Right behind him was Mikal Bridges, who had also had a spectacular shooting night.

Bridges has been Mr. Reliable for the Suns all year, and this past week has been no different.

The 26-year-old now has five straight games of over 20 points, his longest streak all season.

And lastly, let’s not forget how important Cam Johnson has been since his return.

Although Monty Williams has severely limited Johnson’s playing time in order to restrict any further pain to his injury, Johnson has shined whenever an opportunity is presented.

In just 20 minutes, Cam put up 20 points, shooting 7 of 9.

It was an all-around impressive night from the Suns. They will now look to carry this momentum into Brooklyn as they take on the Nets at 5:30 on Tuesday. You can tune into this game on TNT.
