Christian Braun was the 21st pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Kansas, and spent his rookie year with the Denver Nuggets

The 22-year-old averaged 4.7 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field and 35.4% from the three-point range in 76 regular season games.

On Tuesday evening, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Nuggets made a decision on his third-year contract option.

Via Wojnarowski: "As expected, the Denver Nuggets are picking up the third-year option on guard Christian Braun, sources tell ESPN. Braun — the fifth player to win back-to-back NCAA and NBA titles — is expected to assume a sixth man role this season."
