The Denver Nuggets are coming off an unbelievable season where they finished as the first seed in the Western Conference and won the 2023 NBA Championship over Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.

They have one of the best rosters in the league, with most players returning to the team next season.

Therefore, the Nuggets should once again be seen as legitimate contenders to win the 2024 NBA Championship.

On Sunday evening, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the team is signing 10-year NBA veteran Justin Holiday.

Via Wojnarowski: "Free agent Justin Holiday has agreed to a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN."

Holiday spent this past season playing for the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks and averaged 4.5 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 37.7% from the field and 32.2% from the three-point range in 46 games.

The 34-year-old has also played for the Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers.

His career averages are 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 39.7% from the field and 36.3% from the three-point range in 622 regular season games (he has also played in nine NBA Playoff games).

Holiday could prove to be an underrated signing because of his ability to make three-pointers and play above-average defense.

In addition, the team lost Bruce Brown ( he is signing with the Indiana Pacers), who was a key contributor to their championship team this past year.
