Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker was not in good spirits Monday during his team’s double-digit loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

The Suns were eclipsed 128-114 by the Mavs on Christmas Day at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Ariz.

One particular play early in the third quarter particularly irritated Booker. Suns big man Chimezie Metu served up a lazy pass intended for Booker right into the hands of defender Luka Doncic. The Mavs star easily converted on a fastbreak layup to give his team a 69-56 lead.

Booker chastising Metu for not running back to defend the play was heard on the ESPN broadcast.

“Why aren’t you running back? You’re just going to turn the ball over and don’t run back?” questioned Booker.

The Suns locker room doesn’t appear to be feeling festive during the holiday season. Durant was seen looking way too mad about missing a shot during warmups.

Durant may have been angry about more than just a practice shot, though. A report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski detailed Durant’s rumored frustration about his “underwhelming supporting cast” in Phoenix.

Booker and Durant combined for just 36 points on 10-of-25 shooting from the field. The Suns duo was outscored single-handedly by Doncic, who erupted for 50 points and 15 assists during the Christmas Day clash.
