Dirk Nowitzki is clearly high on Victor Wembanyama.

Victor Wembanyama is the prospect that will headline the 2023 NBA Draft, and there's no doubt that he has superstar potential. Many are excited for him to enter the league due to his combination of length, athleticism, and skill, and it'll be interesting to see how he does in the NBA. As of right now, Victor Wembanyama is averaging 22.9 PPG, 9.6 RPG, and 2.3 APG for his Metropolitans squad in France.

Former legend Dirk Nowitzki has recently spoken on Victor Wembanyama, comparing him to when Kevin Durant entered the league, noting that there's always "something better" that is "coming down the line". NBA insider Marc Stein relayed the news.

The longtime face of the Dallas Mavericks turned his answer into the latest awestruck praise for French teenager Victor Wembanyama. "You always think you've seen it all," Nowitzki said. "When Kevin Durant came, you're like, 'Oh my God, there's a 7-footer now being a 2 guard.' Now you have a 7-4 guy coming into the league next year who's jacking up 3s and shooting runners from 3. There's always something else, something better, coming down the line."

There's no doubt that Victor Wembanyama could potentially develop into a special player. While it is too early to tell if he'll actually be a superstar in the league, many believe that will be the case.

An NBA Agent Believes Victor Wembanyama Could Become The GOAT

There's no question that many are high on Victor Wembanyama, but some takes on the prospect are definitely controversial. In fact, an agent suggested that Victor Wembanyama could be "the greatest player ever".

“If he’s not hurt, he’ll be the greatest player ever,” said the agent, who has multiple clients playing overseas and in the NBA.

“He’s the best player in the league and the level of players he’s playing against are the best players in the Pac-12, the best college players, borderline NBA guys — and he’s dominating,” the agent added. “Dominating.

"Wembanyama’s physicality, I think people underestimate because he’s so thin. He’s a physically strong dude. When everything opens in the NBA, he’s going to be unstoppable, totally unstoppable. He’ll be the best rim protector in the NBA from day one. And then offensively he’ll be an efficient, unstoppable force from day one.”

This agent's review of Victor Wembanyama is definitely glowing, and it is clear that he believes Wembanyama will be an "unstoppable force" that can dominate the league. It'll be interesting to see how accurate his prediction is.

Hopefully, we do see Victor Wembanyama end up as a good player in the league. He is genuinely a player like we have never seen before, and if he gets drafted to the right franchise, he could be a legendary player.
