Donovan Mitchell was put in a very tough position last month, where he had to decide who to start, bench, and cut/trade between three of the greatest shooting guard the game of basketball has seen.

He's trying to reach the level of Dwyane Wade, Allen Iverson, and Tracy McGrady, and while he gets there, Mitchell is playing games involving these three legends. During a recent edition of The Players' Tribune's "Knuckleheads" podcast, the Utah Jazz superstar was asked to start, bench, or cut/trade these players.

If you know Spida well, it's not hard to guess who he's starting. However, for the next two spots, things were more difficult for the player (57:09).

“Gotta start D-Wade. I’d start Dwyane Wade. I’m gonna bench AI, I’mma trade T-Mac, and this kills me man. Because T-Mac is my guy with Adidas, and we went on a tour in China together. T-Mac is my dude. I dunno, I mean just those two out there.”

This is a difficult question to answer, and just like Spida, the rest of us will have a lot of work trying to cut Wade, Iverson, or McGrady. The Jazz player made his decision, although it wasn't easy. Now he knows how hard things can be for an executive.

Donovan is trying to get revenge in the league next season after getting eliminated in the second round of the playoff by the Los Angeles Clippers. The young guard wants to be a top-10 SG of all time, just like the three monsters he had to start, bench, and cut.
