Donovan Mitchell on Jazz tenure: 'We had a good run'

Three-time All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell was officially introduced as the newest member of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday afternoon. During his presser with the media, Mitchell talked about his affinity for cold weather, the reports of him nearly being traded to the New York Knicks and where he was when he found about his trade to Cleveland.

The 26-year-old also tackled the topic of his exit from his former employer, the Utah Jazz. Undoubtedly the biggest two moves from a fire sale of an offseason for CEO Danny Ainge's franchise were the Mitchell trade and the Rudy Gobert trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves at the start of July.

The Louisville product projects to join a youthful and talented starting five that includes fellow All-Stars Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen, as well as First-Team All-Rookie big man Evan Mobley and 2020 fifth overall pick Isaac Okoro. Mitchell posted 25.9 points, a career-high 5.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and a career-high 1.5 steals last year.
