Draymond Green, Kevin Durant react to fans being banned for unruly behavior

Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are two players who have never been shy about sharing their feelings on any topic, and both responded to two fans receiving indefinite bans following incidents of unruly behavior during Wednesday night's playoff games.

The events occurred at two separate games: A Philadelphia fan was ejected and then banned by the 76ers after dumping popcorn on Russell Westbrook's head, and a Knicks fan received a ban from Madison Square Garden after spitting on Trae Young.

The incidents have raised concerns about fans crossing the line during interactions with players. Green offered his insight, saying that fans have been "enabled" to do whatever they want because players know they will be severely punished if they respond at all.

"A lot of 'fans' keep crossing the line," Green tweeted. "That’s what happens when they’ve been enabled for years. For years they’ve come in these arenas and shouted whatever they’ve wanted to the players. The very moment players has responded.... Well, we all know how it’s ended for the us Smh."

Green is likely referring to the infamous Malice at the Palace, where Ron Artest received a 72-game suspension after going into the stands and attacking a fan he mistakenly thought threw a drink at him. Since then, the league has had a zero-tolerance policy about players confronting fans.

Durant offered a more concise response to Wednesday night's events, simply tweeting, "It's all fun and game until ya ass banned for life."
