“I just wanted to get us a win, honestly,” said Duren, who turns 21 on Nov. 18. “We’ve talked a lot about running hard through the tape and finishing this year strong.”
Cade Cunningham contributed 19 points, and the Pistons demonstrated a well-rounded effort with six players scoring in double figures. Despite Detroit’s position at the bottom of the league standings, this victory hints at potential growth and resilience.
The Raptors’ struggle was evident as they matched a season-high losing streak of five games, despite contributions from Immanuel Quickley and former Piston Kelly Olynyk. Coach Darko Rajakovic pinpointed the team’s inability to secure rebounds and prevent second-chance points as a critical downfall.

“Hats off to our second unit tonight,” Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart said. “They built on the lead and gave the starters a cushion. Sasser got hot and Cade was a good teammate and told coach to leave him in.”
