Former Trail Blazers and Kings forward Caleb Swanigan has passed away, his alma mater of Purdue announced in a press release. He was 25.

Swanigan was a product of Fort Wayne, Ind., and was named Indiana Mr. Basketball in 2015. He then spent two seasons at Purdue, winning Big Ten Player of the Year honors in 2017. The Trail Blazers with the No. 26 overall pick in the first round later that year.

He spent three seasons with the Blazers, with two years with the Kings sandwich between his final NBA season of 2020. He also spent time with the Canton Charge, Texas Legends and Stockton Kings of the G League.
