Without a doubt, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade will go down as one of the best players in NBA history. But if it were left to Jeff Teague, the Los Angeles Clippers’ James Harden is better than him.
Throughout 15 seasons and counting , Harden has posted some incredible numbers and won major awards in the NBA. Over the course of his career, the Beard is averaging 24.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.5 steals playing for teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Clippers.
In that time, Harden has won MVP in 2018, selected to 10 All-Star Games, clinched the scoring title three times, and made the most assists in a season for two times in his career. Despite not winning a ring yet, those accomplishments have made Harden stand out from the pack.
Meanwhile, Wade averaged 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.5 steals in the 16 seasons he played in the league. He also won three championships, one Finals MVP, and was named to 13 All-Star Games.
Los Angeles Clippers’ James Harden is Better Than Dwayne Wade, According to Jeff Teague
While Wade is seen as the better player to many people, Teague has a different perspective on who’s the better shooting guard between him and the Clippers’ star.

“Harden is the #3 shooting guard of all-time. Me just watching his game going against him, competing against him. James Harden when he was by himself in Houston, bro they was going to the Western Conference Finals every year.
They were doing all this stuff and he was unbelievable, averaging averaging 35-8-8. He was unguardable! I ain’t trying to disrespect D-Wade but before Bron go there Miami was competing with us, the Hawks. Then Bron came and it’s a different stratosphere,” Teague said.
While Teague’s argument may be justified, what Wade got done in his career might sway more people to his side. Three rings is certainly a big difference when comparing the two All-Star guards.
At the end of the day, Harden’s career isn’t done yet and he still has a chance to become better than Wade. With the Clippers surging in the West, anything can happen this season.
