Fergie’s now-infamous rendition of the national anthem from last year’s NBA All-Star Game is back in the news thanks to the Golden State Warriors.

It essentially started when Fergie’s ex-husband Josh Duhamel argued that Draymond Green “owed her an apology” for visibly snickering during the anthem. The Warriors doubled down, playing and dancing to a remix of the song in the locker room.

Fergie herself, it turned out, was totally cool about things.

Even Duhamel backed down after seeing it.

It’s worth remembering that Fergie actually apologized after her performance. Now it seems like everyone has just sort of moved on and finds it funny.
