Around the trade deadline, the Philadelphia 76ers were tied to Andre Drummond in rumors. After a deal didn't get done, news emerged that the Chicago Bulls backed out right at the end. Still with Chicago, the former All-Star is fresh off achieving a rare statistical feat.

On Tuesday night, the Bulls found themselves in a double-overtime thriller against the Cleveland Cavaliers. When all was said and done, they managed to walk out with a 132-123 victory.

Drummond started at center in this matchup, and ended up playing 36 minutes. In that time, he put on a rebounding masterclass. Along with 17 points and three blocks, he brought down 26 boards.

Since 2010, 26 rebounds is tied for the sixth-most in a game by a single player. The top spot belongs to Kevin Love, who grabbed 31 rebounds in one game as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Looking back at his career, Drummond grabbed more than 26 rebounds on two separate occasions. His career-high is 29, that came in 2015 as a member of the Detroit Pistons. He also notched 27 in a game during the 2018 season.

Over the past 12 years, Drummond has led the league in rebounding on four separate occasions. This season with the Bulls, he is averaging just under nine a game while coming off the bench.

Before the 2022 season, Drummond signed a free agent deal with the Sixers to be Joel Embiid's backup. During his brief stint in Philly, he'd average 6.1 PPG and 8.8 RPG. Drummond's Sixers tenure came to an end at the trade deadline when he was dealt to the Brooklyn Nets alongside Ben Simmons in exchange for James Harden.
