Former Chicago Bulls guard Nate Robinson is facing a life-threatening medical issue. The 11-year NBA veteran Robinson is experiencing kidney failure and needs to find a donor.

"I know I don't have long if I can't get a kidney," Robinson told Jake Nisse of Daily Mail.

"Some people's body reject dialysis. And thank God that mine accepts it and I can live... if I didn't go to dialysis, I wouldn't live probably longer than a week or two," Robinson said of his condition. "So it's serious, can't miss a day. I go in for four hours, three days a week, four hours a day. And they clean my blood to get my toxins out. And they help me out a lot because that's how I'm living."

In 2022, Robinson publicly announced that he had been suffering from kidney failure since 2018.

Robinson's NBA career featured stints with eight teams, including the Bulls in 2012-13. Most Bulls fans remember his playoff performance as he led the Bulls to a seven-game series victory over the Brooklyn Nets in the first round.

Robinson is also famous league-wide for winning the NBA Dunk Contest in 2006, 2008, and 2010.
