Frank Jackson was a highly touted recruit coming out of high school, and ESPN had him ranked as the tenth-best player in the country.

The 2016 McDonald's All-American played his college basketball for Duke and averaged 10.9 points per contest on 39.5% shooting from the three-point range.

Following his freshman season, he was the 31st overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Currently, the 24-year-old has been averaging 22.2 points per contest in the G League, and Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports he will sign a ten-day contract with the Utah Jazz

Via Charania: "The Utah Jazz are signing five-year NBA veteran Frank Jackson to a 10-day contract out of their Salt Lake City G League affiliate, his agents Troy Payne and Mike Silverman of Equity Basketball tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Jackson averaged 22 points in G League this season."

Jackson most recently played for the Detroit Pistons (last season) and averaged 10.6 points per contest.

Over the offseason, he signed with the Phoenix Suns but was waived before the start of the 2022-23 season.

He has proven to be a talented scorer over his time as a pro but will need to work on his efficiency (he shoots 42.2% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range for his career).

Joining a team like the Jazz (even on a ten-day contract) is an excellent opportunity to showcase his abilities.

They will play their next game on Thursday night when they host Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder in Salt Lake City, Utah.
