Rumors of a potential trade sending New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers started heating up on Wednesday.

Specifically, the Lakers are said to be willing to offer up their No. 4 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft as well as youngsters Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram in a trade.

For their part, the Pelicans want star young forward Kyle Kuzma to be included. Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen.

However, former Lakers guard and current Cleveland Cavalier Jordan Clarkson has some advice for Kuzma. Start packing your bags.

That’s some pretty harsh stuff from a former teammate. Though, Clarkson might not be wrong here. He also might still have a bitter taste in his mouth after being sent from Los Angeles to the Cavaliers during the midway point of the 2017-18 season.

Unlike Ball and Ingram, it sure seems like the Lakers’ brass wants to hang on to Kuzma.

That could be overshadowed by the possibility of teaming Anthony Davis up with LeBron James in Southern California.

Stay tuned. Something should happen on this front ahead of the 2019 NBA Draft next week.
