Justin Patton most recently played in the NBA during the 2020-21 season when he appeared in 13 games (six starts) for the Houston Rockets.

That year, he averaged 5.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 41.4% from the field and 26.5% from the three-point range.

Patton has spent the previous three seasons playing overseas and was recently waived by the Taipei Fubon Braves (h/t Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype).

Via The Fubon Braves Facebook Page (Translated to English): "Taipei Fubon Warriors today announced a change in the ocean - new signing Prince Ibeh, release Justin Patton and Matur Maker."

Patton was initially the 16th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft after playing one season of college basketball for Creighton.

He has played part of four seasons in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets.

His career averages are 3.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest while shooting 40.4% from the field and 25.0% from the three-point range in 22 regular season games.

The 26-year-old has also spent a lot of time in the G League.

Over 83 regular season games (57 starts), Patton averaged 11.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 blocks per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field and 30.8% from the three-point range.

Since Patton is still young (and a recent first-round pick), he could end up getting another chance in the NBA (or G League) at some point.
