Derrick Williams was initially the second pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 32-year-old most recently played in the league during the 2018 season when he was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Last year, Williams played with Panathinaikos and averaged 6.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest while shooting 43.7% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range in 21 regular season games.

He also appeared in 34 League games with averages of 12.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 47.7% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range.

Currently, Williams is a free agent, so he is available to be signed by any team in the league.

Williams has also played for the Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat (in addition to the Timberwolves and Lakers).

His career averages are 8.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 43.4% from the field and 30.0% from the three-point range in 428 regular season games.

He has also appeared in eight NBA playoff games with the Cavs and averaged 2.6 points per contest while shooting 53.3% from the field.

Coming out of Arizona, Williams was seen as a player with All-Star potential.

Despite never becoming a star, he was a solid role player over his seven seasons in the NBA.

At 32, Williams could still be an excellent addition to an NBA team (or another team overseas).
