Michael Redd is a former All-Star who played for the Milwaukee Bucks for the majority of his career. While he is well known by fans of the Milwaukee Bucks, most NBA fans wouldn’t necessarily recognize the name. While he is no Hall of Famer, Redd does hold a record specifically in the Milwaukee Bucks franchise. Michael Redd managed to score 57 points in a single game against the Utah Jazz in 2006 and holds the record for the most points scored in a game for the Bucks.

Somebody who could potentially break the record would be MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo has enjoyed great success as a superstar for the Milwaukee Bucks, and he has put up mind-boggling numbers on many nights over the past few seasons. Antetokounmpo certainly thinks that he can break Redd’s record, and has told the former All-Star as much in an exchange captured on video. Antetokounmpo

One day, one day I’m going to break your record… Might take a few years.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo is an unselfish superstar who makes the right play, seeing him break Michael Redd’s scoring record would be fun for NBA fans. Giannis Antetokounmpo is already one of the greatest players to have ever played in Milwaukee. Antetokounmpo breaking another Bucks record would just further his legacy, and the game itself would be spectacular. With the offense-based game of today, perhaps we will see Giannis Antetokounmpo break Redd’s record soon.
