On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors  will host the Orlando Magic at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

Before the game (on Monday), the team announced that they had assigned Gui Santos to the Santa Cruz Warriors (G League). 

Via Warriors PR: "The Golden State Warriors have assigned forward Gui Santos to the team's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today. Santos is expected to play in Santa Cruz's game tomorrow night against the Indiana Mad Ants at Gainbridge Fieldhouse."

Santos, who was the 55th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, has played in four games for the Warriors and is averaging 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 57.1% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range. 

He continues to spend a lot of time going back and forth between Golden State and Santa Cruz.  

According to Warriors PR, the 21-year-old is averaging 15.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per contest in 16 G League games. 

As for the Warriors, they have gotten off to a slow start to the season with a 15-17 record in their first 32 games.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Warriors lost to the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 132-122. 

Following the Magic, they will host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. 

The Warriors have gone 9-8 in the 17 games they have played at the Chase Center.
