On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors  will host the Washington Wizards at the Chase Center. 

Before the game, the team announced that they had made a roster move by recalling Gui Santos from the G League.  

Via Warriors PR: "The Golden State Warriors have recalled forward Gui Santos from the team's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today."

Santos is in his rookie season and has gone back and forth between the NBA and G League many times. 

He has played in two NBA games and is averaging 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field. 

Meanwhile, with the Santa Cruz Warriors (G League), Santos has averages of 14.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 29.5% from the three-point range in 15 games.  

The 21-year-old was the 55th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. 

As for the Warriors, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 13-14 record in their first 27 games.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

On Tuesday evening, the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics (at home) by a score of 132-126 in overtime. 

Steph Curry had another fantastic game, as he put up 33 points, three rebounds and six assists while shooting 11/21 from the field and 6/11 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time. 

At home, the Warriors have a 7-6 record in 13 games.
