After the Suns’ incredible 4th-quarter comeback against the Sacramento Kings a few days ago, Grayson Allen issued a challenge to the fans.

While Footprint Center is renowned for its booming sound system, there’s room for improvement in the crowd’s energy.

Admittedly, when the home team is trailing by 20 points, a few boos may surface, and understandably, the fans might not be in the mood to amp up the atmosphere. However, as seen time and time again, a booming dunk can easily inject life into the crowd, sparking a momentum-shifting run.

This precise scenario unfolded against the Kings.

In a clear-cut message, Allen noted,” I wish we could work better with the crowd. Like I understand we weren’t playing well, they paid for the tickets, they can come out and cheer however they want to. But, man, when we’re down like we want to be a great home court team, we have such a great crowd.”

Allen went on to commend the crowd, stating that the 4th quarter against the Kings witnessed the loudest cheers he had heard all season. He even attributed the crowd’s fervor to helping the Suns regain energy and orchestrate the 4th-quarter push they executed.
