The Memphis Grizzlies intend to sign forward Matthew Hurt to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.

Hurt, 23, is 6-foot-9 and went undrafted out of Duke in 2021. He has spent most of his time in the G League, most recently with the Memphis Hustle.

Hurt is averaging 22.7 points and 7.4 rebounds with Memphis’ G League affiliate.

The Grizzlies signed Hurt in September before releasing him in the middle of October. He has also spent time with the Houston Rockets in training camp and their G League affiliate in 2021-22.

The Grizzlies (18-28) enter Monday in 13th place in the Western Conference, 5.5 games out of the final play-in spot. They have won three of four, as we relayed here.
