The Orlando Magic traveled to Cleveland and were able to get a big win over the Cavaliers, 109-104 Despite blowing a 23-point in the fourth quarter, the Magic were able to hold on for victory.

Magic rookie Cole Anthony led the charge for the Magic at the starting point guard spot. Anthony scored 18 points on 6 of 12 shooting in 31 minutes . As time progresses Anthony is really making strides and has a bright future ahead of him. Magic guard Gary Harris spoke on Anthony’s maturation.

“Cole is a gamer who wants the moment, he wants the ball in his hands,” Harris said. “He’s going to be a very good player for a long time in this league. We’ve had some ups and downs, but we’re building something here.”

Anthony said he has a no-back-down mentality and knows that he belongs in this league.

“In order to make the right play, I felt like I had to have the ball in my hands, to be honest,” Anthony said. “My job as a point guard is to make things happen for my team the best way I can.”

Harris had himself a game as well. He finished with 19 points on 9 of 16 shooting in 34 minutes. He also grabbed 6 rebounds and passed for 7 assists.

As Harris’ overall health improves he seems to be rounding back into playing at a top level like he did when he was a member of the Denver Nuggets.

Magic rookie Chuma Okeke played a great game as well. He has really been stepping up lately. He scored 18 points on 7 of 12 shooting in 27 minutes of play. Chuma also shot 3 of 6 from the three-point line.

The Magic look to end the season on a high note in these final 10 games. This win in Cleveland was a great start to this final stretch of the season.

The Magic travel to Memphis to face the Grizzles next on Friday, 4/30. Tip-off is 8 pm Eastern.
