Miami Heat star forward Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the host Detroit Pistons due to a right foot contusion.

Butler, 34, has team-leading averages in points (21.4), assists (4.8) and steals (1.4) in 47 games (all starts) this season. The six-time All-Star collected 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Miami's 108-95 victory over Detroit on Friday.

Rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith and Caleb Martin likely will see additional playing time in the absence of Butler.

Butler joins guards Tyler Herro (foot) and Josh Richardson (shoulder) and forwards Kevin Love (heel) and Nikola Jovic (hamstring) in sitting out Sunday's contest for the Heat (36-30).
