The Heat are looking to make a move and it appears small forward Duncan Robinson is one player they are willing to use to help make it happen.

Per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Robinson has become available in trade talks.

Of course, it may not be so easy. Robinson is mostly known for his outside shooting — but he’s shooting a career-worst 35 percent from the field in 16 games this season, including just 31 percent on 3-pointers. It has resulted in a scoring averaging of 6.3 points, his lowest since his rookie season of 2018-19.

Perhaps making matters worse, at least when it comes to Robinson’s trade value is the fact he is “owed $57.49 million over the next three seasons if you include his player option for the 2025-26 season,” Scotto wrote.

The Heat finished with the best record in the Eastern Conference last season, but the injury bug has bit hard lately, as they sit at just 7-10 through Sunday.

Robinson’s best season came in 2019-20, when he averaged 13.5 points and buried 45 percent of his threes.

Miami recently has been linked to Jae Crowder, the Suns’ forward who requested a trade before the season.
