Denver leads the series 2-0 after Monday’s 101-99 triumph over Los Angeles. Nikola Jokic was the top scorer of the game and recorded a triple-double with 27 points, 10 assists, and 20 rebounds. LeBron James also scored 26 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds despite the Lakers’ loss.

Los Angeles will seek to reduce the gap and shorten the lead in the series, knowing that coming back from 0-3 would be extremely difficult. During the regular season, the Lakers achieved a record of 28 wins and 14 losses playing at home.

The reigning champion Denver finished the regular season with a mark of 24-17 playing away from home. This is their sixth consecutive postseason, the Nuggets aim to secure their third victory in the series to be one win away from sweeping the Lakers.
