Oklahoma leads the series 1-0 after the 94-92 triumph over New Orleans in Game 1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the top scorer for the OKC with 28 points. Trey Murphy III also scored 21 points despite the Pelicans’ loss.

The OKC team (57-25) finished the regular season in first place in the West, with a record of 33-8 playing at home. The Thunder now have a balance of 37-16 in games against teams from their conference.

The New Orleans team (49-33) will aim to tie the series. The Pelicans defeated the Sacramento Kings in the Play-In to secure the eighth spot in the standings. They ended with a 21-19 mark playing at home this season.
