In late 2023, Nike launched Devin Booker's first signature sneaker in very limited quantities. Unfortunately, many fans are still struggling to get their hands on the highly anticipated model. Due to its laid-back design and interesting choice in colorways, the Nike Book 1 has become a lightning rod in the sneaker community.

Simply put, there has not been a more polarizing basketball shoe than the Nike Book 1 in many years. But Booker's kicks perform well on the court, unlike other embattled hoop shoes. Even better, the model is versatile enough to be worn off the court (a near impossibility by today's fashion standards).

The Nike Book 1 features a low-profile design, with a mix of textile and Nubuck on the upper, which makes the sneaker look downright premium compared to other performance models. So, we at FanNation Kicks have put together three distinct style ideas to help illustrate how to wear Booker's sneakers casually.

How to style the Nike Book 1.

Warm weather is already arriving in much of the United States, and soon, the heat will be unbearable again. This is especially true for our younger readers who will spend summer days roaming the campgrounds at music festivals.

Anyone who has ever attended Bonnaroo or Hangout knows that those concerts look like the G20 of random basketball jerseys. Sneakerheads can stay cool with Booker's sneakers, along with his Phoenix Suns jersey ($120) and Nike Club Woven shorts ($50).

This is me, and I am him. For everyone who would qualify for a veteran's minimum contract in the NBA and spends their summer in the office, this is for us. Wearing our sneakers to work is one of the last things that corporate America will pry from our millennial hands.

But to avoid more side-eyes from our coworkers and office-wide emails reminding of us the dress code, we have to keep it business casual. Luckily, the Nike Book 1 is the ultimate glue guy in this scenario. The Nike Victory 1/2-Zip ($75) and Nike Dri-Fit Golf pants ($80) perfectly complement Booker's sneakers, running a triangle offense of dad vibes.

Athleisure has permeated every part of modern fashion. Even if you're not at the gym, you will see people rocking comfortable, stretchy attire everywhere, from the bank to the grocery store.

Lace up a pair of Booker's sneakers with a Nike Sportswear shirt ($35) and Nike Sportswear joggers ($60), and you will be able to seamlessly move through almost any social setting while remaining ultra comfortable.
