Sometimes in life, the decisions we make in the present are for the decisions we will make in the future. That is what is referred to as an investment. We want to build equity to make our lives easier and more beneficial in the future. It takes true patience and seeing the value in what is right in front of us to do so.

After seeing former Wizard Guard Bradley Beal traded and even former Wizard Center Kristaps Porzingis moved as well, many believed Kyle Kuzma would be next. Instead, he secured the bag and signed a long term extension to keep him in The District. This was a win now and win later move for the Washington Wizards and Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma has earned every dime he received over the summer as he looks like a missing piece on a championship team.

With the recent struggles of the Wizards and the state of the franchise, you have to wonder what is the ultimate goal and end game for Kyle Kuzma. The Wizards have been busy making moves with the Detroit Pistons. There certainly is reason to believe they may not be done making trades. In fact, they just may be getting started.

The Wizards want to be great in the future. They know their championship window is not open at this very moment. Their operation of business requires a bit of patience. Trading Kyle Kuzma will buy them more time and they know exactly what they need and would like if Kyle Kuzma is on the trading block.

One of the greatest things in life is watching your investment increase in value. It is almost like buying stock or Bitcoin. Kyle Kuzma is an investment in Washington. Once the right deal comes along, he will be flipped for double his value. Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards are helping each other here as Kuzma has earned his money and the Wizards will be able to avoid in paying it all to him via a trade.
