Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder might have confirmed his imminent departure from the team in recently deleted tweet.

Whenever anyone talks about the Phoenix Suns, it is the superstars Devin Booker and Chris Paul who often stand out. But the Suns are much more than just Booker and CP3. Boasting some of the best role players, the Suns are a very balanced side. Among one of the most important role players on the team is Jae Crowder.

Crowder who over the years has established himself as one of the best 3 and D players in the league. A decent 3-point shooter in the regular season, Crowder generally finds his most value in the playoffs.

Be it locking down wings like LeBron James or even guarding smaller guards, Crowder's versatility on the defensive end is commendable. He also turns up in terms of shooting as well. Come playoff time, a player like Crowder is certainly worth the money.

Jae Crowder Confirms His Imminent Departure From Phoenix Suns In Deleted Tweet

Crowder's time with the Suns has been successful, to say the least. But it seems like the 32-year-old is looking for a new challenge heading into the 2022-23 season. The 6'6" forward might have just confirmed his imminent departure from the Suns recently, though.

In a recently deleted tweet, Crowder reacted to a fan's post about the Suns. Crowder reacted to it with a post:

"99 won't be there"

This tweet confirms that the forward is indeed leaving Phoenix ahead of the 2022-23 season. Where he might be headed next remains to be seen. Although he has been giving hints of a potential return to the Miami Heat, a player like Crowder will be in high demand for many contenders.

A 3 and D wing who is a playoff performer is pretty rare to find, and Crowder certainly fits the billing. Given his track record with playoff teams, it won't be a surprise if the 32-year-old ends up with another contender. Where do you want to see Crowder play?
