Phoenix Suns players and coaches had a mixed reaction regarding the Robert Sarver situation. Some stars such as Devin Booker had decent relationships with the owner before the recent news was unleashed. However, others are more than glad to see him gone.

General Manager James Jones stated during media day this Monday morning. ” I think that’s the best outcome, for everyone involved”

Jones would like to raise the standards for the organization in general. ” It brings closure to a long period of discomfort… It gives us a pivot point to continue to focus on raising the standards of our organization and leading by example”

The Suns’ GM was extremely disappointed in the events that led up to the Sarver departure.

“When you look at the findings and the misprocess, we have been through, you realize we did not live up to the standards of excellence. “

Going forward, the Phoenix Suns will look to strive for a new level of excellence with the 2022 season just around the corner.
