Jaxson Hayes ripped the NBA over his snub from the Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star Weekend.

The New Orleans Pelicans rookie was not among the first- or second-year players selected to compete in the game, which will take place on Friday, Feb. 14. in Chicago. He apparently was hearing from fans who were messaging him to say he got left off.

Hayes responded with a video message. He said he agreed with those complaints and ripped the NBA, daring the league to fine him.

“This is all I’m going to say on the subject … because all y’all are saying ‘bro, you should have made it.’ Yeah I should have bro, but I didn’t. It is what it is. The NBA’s a bunch of bulls—. The NBA can really suck my d— for all I care. I hope you all see this video, by the way, and fine me. S—‘s just crazy. I work in a political league that’s all about politics, and it is what it is,” Hayes said.

Well, Jaxson, you can bet the league has seen the video and will fine you for it. Did he really think he’d get away with this?

The 19-year-old is averaging 8.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 19.2 minutes per game. Hayes was the No. 8 overall pick in the draft, selected by the Hawks on behalf of the Pelicans.

You can see the video below, but beware – it includes profanity.
