There’s kicking somebody when they’re down, and then there’s what the Utah Jazz did on Thursday night.

The Jazz continued the unrelenting misery of the Detroit Pistons on Thursday, beating them, 119-111, to extend Detroit’s unbelievable losing streak to 25 straight games. The Pistons surprisingly entered the game as slight favorites since the Jazz were missing Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson, Keyonte George and others due to injury … but they still failed to take care of business.

Utah went viral after the game for the brutal post they made to their official TikTok page at Detroit’s expense. The Jazz account posted a video featuring humorous images set to a fitting “SpongeBob SquarePants” quote, from the Season 3 episode “New Student Starfish," “I thought of something funnier than 24 … 25!”

Take a look.

The Pistons entered Thursday’s game on a 24-game losing streak … which the Jazz promptly made 25. That hurts.

The Pistons haven’t won a game in nearly two months and are now just one off the mark for the longest single-season losing streak in NBA history (currently shared by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers and the 2013-14 Philadelphia 76ers).

Meanwhile, Cade Cunningham’s development is poor, Jalen Duren is still injured, and Pistons fans are wearing paper bags over their heads calling for an ownership change.
