The Utah Jazz will finish the second game of their two-game homestand on Wednesday night versus the Chicago Bulls. It will be all hands on deck heading into the contest for the Jazz.

Lauri Markkanen (quad), Taylor Hendricks (toe), and Walker Kessler (foot) are listed as out, while Keyonte George (illness) is questionable. As for the Bulls, Torrey Craig is doubtful.

This will be another opportunity for some of Utah’s inexperienced players to prove they belong in the NBA. In Monday night’s win against the Washington Wizards, Luka Samanec and Johnny Juzang received rotational minutes, but Jordan Clarkson stole the show.

The former Sixth Man of the Year flirted with a triple-double with 38 points, ten rebounds, and seven assists. It’s been reported that this will be Clarkson’s last season in Salt Lake City, and the Jazz will need him to have a solid finish to the season to keep his trade stock high.

Although Utah is out of the playoff picture, this game is relevant regarding Utah’s first-round pick. Currently, the Jazz are penciled in at the eleven spot in the lottery standings and are only 1.5 games ahead of the Bulls. Their pick is top 10 protected, and Utah is only 1/2 a game behind the Houston Rockets in retaining the selection.

Utah is usually tough at home, but considering their status on the injury front, the oddsmakers have the Bulls pegged as a four-point favorite. The tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. MST.
