The Utah Jazz won't have much rest when they hit the road to face the Dallas Mavericks on a back-to-back. The Jazz  be without some key contributors heading into the contest.

Jordan Clarkson (groin), and John Collins (face) are out and Lauri Markkanen is not on the injury report.

The youth movement continues for Utah, with Keynonte George, Brice Sensabaugh, and Taylor Hendricks leading the way. Although the results haven't been good in terms of wins and losses, Jazz fans have a lot to be excited about moving forward.

It appears Utah hit on all three first-round picks. George has progressed the fastest, but Hendricks and Sensabaugh are making a case to be in next year's rotation, too.

Jazz head coach Will Hardy has been giving the toughest defensive assignments to Hendricks. Utah desperately needs an elite wing defender, and Hendricks could fit the bill. It will be interesting to see if Hendricks matches up against Luca Doncic tonight and, if he does, what type of resistance he’ll have to offer.

The Jazz have lost six out if their last seven games, and it could be another rough one tonight. The oddsmakers have Utah pegged as a 14.5-point underdog. The tip-off is at 6:30 pm MST.
