Jazz star Donovan Mitchell 'in good shape' despite hurting ankle in Game 3
Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell sat out the final minutes of his team's 132-106 Game 3 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers after suffering an apparent ankle injury.
Mitchell was seen on the bench with ice taped around his right ankle. However, Jazz head coach Quin Snyder said he's not concerned about the 24-year-old's health.
Mitchell also said after the game that he was fine and that it "didn't make sense" for him to return to the court with Utah trailing.
Mitchell missed the final month of the regular season with a bad sprain to the same ankle. The injury also caused him to miss Utah's first game of the postseason against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The two-time All-Star is averaging 32.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game this postseason while shooting 47.9% from the field and 43.7% from deep.
Game 4 between the Jazz and Clippers is set for Monday night.
