Joe Weiskamp signs two-year deal to come back to Spurs

Joe Weiskamp is coming back to the San Antonio Spurs

According to ESPN, the free-agent small forward will be rejoining the Spurs on a two-year deal worth $4.4 million. The source? Weiskamp's agents at Priority Sports.

Weiskamp was drafted by the Spurs in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft and ended up playing in 22 games for the Spurs as a rookie. Though he only averaged 2.1 points in just 7.1 minutes per game, there is reason to believe that the 6-foot-6 wing has some potential.

He averaged 17.1 points per game on 36.8% shooting from the field for the Austin Spurs in 2021.

Weiskamp was a mainstay at Iowa, where he started all 97 games of his college career and averaged 13.2 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting 46.7%
