The Boston Celtics have assigned rookie Jordan Walsh to the team's G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics.

The former University of Arkansas standout didn't log a single minute of playing time in Boston's first three games of the 2023-24 regular season but had flashes of impressive two-way play in the preseason.

Against the New York Knicks on Oct. 9, Walsh finished with four points, seven rebounds, and two steals in 19 minutes of playing time. He also converted two of his five field-goal attempts in a game the Celtics lost by seven points, 114-107.

Walsh and the Maine Celtics will kick off their 2023-24 season when they take on the Capital City Go-Go in the nation's capital on Nov. 10.
