Kawhi Leonard is recognized for being a somewhat reserved character.

Although the 30-year-old has on occasion offered certain glimpses into his personality, generally he is known for being stoic and kind of indifferent.

As a result, any time fans learn anything new about the Los Angeles Clippers star, it immediately goes viral.

Case in point: his hilarious childhood photos.

This week it happened again.

A fan on Twitter came across Leonard’s favorite team growing up – and it came as something of a shock.

That team? The Denver Nuggets.

Why the Nuggets? It’s unclear. But it could have something to do with who his favorite NBA player was at the time.

Fun tidbits notwithstanding, Leonard is currently in something of a state of flux. He is technically a free agent and, up until recently, was widely expected to re-sign with the Clippers. However, over the last few weeks details have emerged about turmoil between him and the organization that have made things a bit more complicated.

It has even gotten to that point now where another team is seen as a credible threat to steal Leonard from L.A.

The next few days will be interesting. One way or another, Leonard’s future will be locked into place soon. Where will he ultimately sign? Time will tell.
