Former Naismith Player of the Year and Kentucky center Oscar Tshiebwe made his G League debut and lit up the scoreboard.

Tshiebwe scored 33 points, brought in 23 rebounds, and dished out two assists.

He is one of the best rebounders in college basketball history, and he showed why in his G League debut.

With Tshiebwe only being six-foot-eight, it's hard to see him as a big man in the NBA, but he proved during his time playing for the Kentucky Wildcats that he can rebound when guarded by a seven-footer.

Rebounding is all about positioning, and Tshiebwe has it down to a science.

He has been working on his jump shot and has started to get better at making the mid-range shot.

If Tshiebwe can get better at shooting the basketball, he truly could get a shot in the NBA.

Congrats to the former Wildcat on his big game, and let's take a look at some of the highlights.

I wrote about Kentucky receiving the commitment of four-star point guard Travis Perry.

"Kentucky basketball received another commitment in the 2024 class as four-star point guard Travis Perry chose the Cats over Ole Miss, Western Kentucky, and Cincinnati."

"Perry is a Kentucky native who attends Lyon County High School in Eddyville."

"He is Kentucky's all-time leading scorer in high school basketball, so this young man can score the rock."
