Devin Booker has been getting a lot of love recently after being underrated for most of his career. The Phoenix Suns proving that last season wasn't a fluke and achieving even greater heights this season has drawn attention to the fact that not only is Booker an elite scorer, but also someone that knows how to put his team in a position to win games.

This has seen him get some shouts for MVP, from notable media personalities like Stephen A. Smith, no less . But amongst all the compliments, the latest one he has received will likely rank among Booker's favorites. Speaking on the Old Man And The Three podcast with JJ Redick, Kevin Durant explained that Devin Booker is the player he enjoys watching the most in the NBA currently.

Tommy Alter: "Who do you like watching in the league right now?"

JJ Redick: "I'm not gonna say guys that I'm super-tight with like CP. The guy for me right now is Book."

Kevin Durant: "I was gonna say Book too. He's got a really pretty game, for one, but I just think he’s really mastering who he is right now. He’s figured it out, like how to play at an elite level and still win.”

Considering that Booker is primarily a scorer, having one of the greatest scorers of all time appreciating his game is surely something that has to feel good. The Suns man is averaging 26.6 points per game this season, and most importantly, it is leading to wins, with the Suns possibly finishing the campaign with more than 65 wins.

Not only is Durant one of the greatest ever, but he is also a student of the game, so this confidence boost will be something Booker will take into the playoffs as he aims to take Phoenix a step further than they managed last season. The fact remains that even if he doesn't win MVP, DBook has established himself as one of the most elite players and winners in the league.
