On Monday evening, the Miami Heat  hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves in Florida.

The Timberwolves won the game by a score of 112-108, and Anthony Edwards led the way with 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Despite the loss, Kevin Love had another good game and put up nine points, ten rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 3/7 from the three-point range (he has made 12 three-pointers over the last three games).

During the game, Love also made NBA history by moving ahead of Trevor Ariza (1,605) for 37th on the all-time three-pointers  list.

Following Ariza, the next player for Love to pass will be Jason Richardson (1,608).

Love has played in 22 games so far this season and is averaging 9.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest while shooting 42.7% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range.

The Heat fell to 15-12 in their first 27 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Magic in Orlando.

Love is in his 16th season in the NBA and has also spent time with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves (in addition to the Heat).

The 2016 NBA Champion has career averages of 16.8 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 37.0% from the three-point range in 894 regular season games (he has also appeared in 83 NBA playoff games).
