Kings All-Star wants everyone to ignore his undefeated record

Domantas Sabonis has never lost to Anthony Davis. Still, he'd prefer that reporters stop bringing that up.

"The more you guys bring attention to that, the more it makes my life harder," Sabonis told a reporter after he asked about the Kings center's 10-0 lifetime record against the Lakers big man.

Sabonis had a triple-double with 17 points, 19 rebounds and ten assists. He clearly bothered Davis with his physicality, especially on a play where Sabonis knocked Davis down on the way to a basket.

Still, Sabonis doesn't have any illusions that the streak will last indefinitely. With every mention of his dominance against Davis, he thinks it will only motivate the Brow even more.

"If anything, it will light a fire under him. So stop mentioning anything," Sabonis concluded with a laugh. "Please."

Sacramento's season sweep of their Southern California rivals makes it less likely that they'll meet again. But if the Kings slump, we could see Sabonis and his teammates have to beat Davis and the Lakers in the play-in tournament. Trust us, the 10-0 record is going to come up at that point, whether Sabonis likes it or not.
