Kings, Warriors, Clippers reportedly 'enamored' with Raptors' Pascal Siakam

Three Western Conference teams have their eyes on Pascal Siakam.

According to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers are especially "enamored" with the Toronto Raptors veteran.

A source with knowledge of the situation told Anderson that Raptors president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri has received numerous trade inquiries on Siakam and is "listening like a good negotiator."

While a deal is possible, Anderson notes that his source doesn't believe it's likely, noting that Siakam has no desire to move on from the Raptors this summer.

Siakam has popped up in trade rumors throughout the offseason. The Athletic's John Hollinger suggested in June that the big man was on Golden State's radar. Sam Amick of The Athletic then reported Sacramento "definitely" has interest in Siakam and Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer added the Portland Trail Blazers engaged in preliminary discussions for the forward.

According to Anderson, the Kings would likely have to offer the Raptors Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley III and at least one future first-round pick to land Siakam.

Siakam has blossomed into a consistent forward for the Raptors over the last three seasons. During the 2020-21 campaign, he averaged 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 45.5% from the field.

If the Kings were to complete a trade, Siakam would become one of Sacramento's best forwards alongside Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes, assuming Bagley is sent to Toronto.

In addition to Siakam, Anderson confirms that the Kings have shown interest in acquiring Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons this offseason.
