Stephen Curry scored a career-high 62 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 137-122 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night.

Curry’s Splash Brother, Klay Thompson, previously held the record for the most points scored between the two of them with 60 points. He accomplished the feat back in December of 2016, requiring only 29 minutes and three quarters to hit the mark.

After Curry’s big night, Thompson shared an Instagram story describing how he truly felt about his career mark being eclipsed by his teammate.

Curry immediately responded to Thompson with a reminder that he still holds the record for the most 3-pointers in a game with 14.

Jokes aside, Thompson was clearly very happy for Curry.

Thompson, who is recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, is obviously still very much involved in all things Warriors and wants nothing but the best for his squad.

As for Curry – he is no doubt still riding high after his big night. The former league MVP went 18-for-31 from the field, including 8-for-16 from beyond the arc, and was 18-of-19 from the free throw line with five rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes.

Following his amazing performances, he got a big congratulations from his wife, Ayesha Curry.

Golden State is 3-3 on the season. With a win on Monday night, Curry could lead his squad to its first .500+ record in a very long time.
